Cam is a father, husband, firefighter, and proud to call Oshawa home.
After completing a degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto (focusing on political & economic theory), Cam entered public service as a wildland firefighter. Serving as a chainsaw operator on a helicopter crew, he spent five years on the front lines fighting forest fires across Canada—a role that demanded quick thinking, teamwork, and a deep commitment to public safety.
After earning a position with a local fire department, Cam settled in Oshawa to raise his family. He’s an active part of the community and is always looking for new ways to contribute to our city’s success.
Cam believes in positive advocacy with a focus on long-term results. He is running for Regional Council to ensure Oshawa reaches its full potential for the families of today and the generations of tomorrow.
